Dr. Jennifer Hamilton, a proud Cassowary Coast local from El Arish, received her primary education at El Arish State School and Mission Beach State School, followed by secondary education at Good Counsel College in Innisfail. In 2019, she achieved distinction upon graduating from James Cook University Cairns with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, marking the beginning of her distinguished career.
Dr. Hamilton exemplifies unwavering dedication to dentistry, specializing in emergency care, preventative treatments, and transformative smile restorations. Richard Chen, our dedicated Oral Health Therapist, is passionate about delivering top-quality dental care for both children and adults. He specializes in children’s dental health and provides thorough adult services, including exams, hygiene treatments, and gum care, all aimed at supporting long-term oral health.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy from Charles Sturt University in 2017 and has since gained valuable experience working in various Queensland towns, including Mt Isa and Townsville. Richard is known for his thorough approach to oral hygiene services, ensuring every patient receives comprehensive care.

Lorraine Dignan
Hamilton Dental welcomes Lorraine Dignan, our dedicated Dental Hygienist, who is passionate about delivering top-quality dental care. Having worked for over 40 years in the dental industry, graduating in 1982 with an Associate Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Gillies Plains in Adelaide, South Australia. Lorraine has experience in many specialties including both orthodontic and periodontal practices. Lorraine brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience and looks forward to sharing that within our community, providing thorough hygiene treatments, and gum care, all aimed at supporting your long-term oral health.
Lorraine has recently relocated north from the Gold Coast where she has been working with a Cosmetic and General Dental Practice for the past 24 years. Her commitment to both her patients and profession is evident from her years of service.
Beyond her professional skills, Lorraine enjoys yoga, entertaining friends and family at home, and has a passion for all things French, having travelled to France many times. Her dedication to high quality dentistry and patient care is paramount, and plays a vital role in helping patients maintain their optimum oral health.
